Scotland + Venice 2022 now seeking Press, PR and Digital services support
Scotland + Venice has commissioned Alberta Whittle to represent Scotland at the 59th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia with an exhibition of new work at the Arsenale Docks, S. Pietro di Castello. The project is a multi-partner project initiated by Glasgow International and is supported by Glasgow Life.
We now seek to appoint a Comms professional or team to provide Press, PR and Digital Media services to the project.
The contractor will be contracted by Creative Scotland and will work closely with the Scotland + Venice team and the different partners across the project to realise the commission and presentation for the Venice Biennale.
The successful contractor will have experience of securing significant international, UK national, national Scottish and local Scottish media (print, broadcast & online) in the field of arts and culture. And will have experience of delivering media campaigns and communicating the themes that are embedded in the work of Alberta Whittle, specifically; colonialism, xenophobia and anti-blackness.
We expect the Press, PR and Digital Media fee to be in the price range of £20,000 – £25,000 (inclusive of VAT). Tenderers registered for VAT should indicate this in their proposal.
The contract is expected to run from November 2021 to August 2022.
